Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler was arrested on Tuesday night following an altercation with another man that began after the man commented on Fowler’s driving. It was not the first traffic-related incident for Fowler in his recent past. In fact, it wasn’t even close.
Mike Kaye of First Coast News noted that since December, 2015, Fowler has amassed eight traffic violations in three Florida counties.

And it doesn’t stop there.
Kaye also noted that Fowler has racked up two in Bradford County, meaning that he’s racked up a staggering 10 traffic violations in Florida in less than two full years. For the record, that’s more than double the number of career sacks (4) that Fowler has recorded.
If Fowler is going to have a long career in the NFL, that’s something that will have to change in a hurry. Though, if the league office has anything to say about all this, he might have to wait a while to get back onto the field in the first place.
