Damar Hamlin is cheering on his teammates from home as his Buffalo Bills host the Miami Dolphins in an AFC wild-card clash Sunday in Orchard Park, N.Y.

It had been unclear whether Hamlin would attend the playoff game just two weeks after going into cardiac arrest on the field in Cincinnati.

Hamlin, 24, visited with teammates on Saturday, three days after being discharged from Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute.

“My heart is with my guys as they compete today!” Hamlin wrote Sunday on Twitter. “Supporting from home as I focus on my recovery. Nothing I want more than to be out there with them!”

Life-saving procedures performed by Bills trainers on the field in Cincinnati during the first quarter of a Jan. 2 game helped Hamlin reach intensive care at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He required CPR and use of a defibrillator moments after making a tackle with 5:58 left in the first quarter.

Last Sunday, as Hamlin watched NFL action from his hospital bed, teams honored him by wearing his number on T-shirts during pregame warmups. Stadiums also shared teams’ support on their message boards.
