Dallas Mavericks guard JJ Redick will miss the remainder of the regular season because of right heel soreness that has nagged him throughout much of the season, coach Rick Carlisle said Wednesday.
Redick aggravated the injury Tuesday during a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Carlisle said the Mavericks are not certain whether Redick will be available for the postseason.
“He’s getting his right heel evaluated, and then we’ll see where we are,” Carlisle said.
Redick is averaging 4.4 points in 13 games off the bench for Dallas. He is shooting 35.8 percent overall and 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.
