After leading laps and contending for the win last September in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to run it back for the 2024 race.

The announcement was made alongside an extension with longtime partner Unilever and its Hellmann’s mayonaise brand through the 2026 season. It will serve as a marketing partner for Justin Allgaier and the No. 7 car for six races this season in addition to the race Earnhardt enters.

“We are grateful for Unilever and Hellmann’s continued support and partnership,” said Earnhardt Jr. “They have played a huge role in our organization and our success ever since the early days of JR Motorsports, both on and off the track. They are a huge component to every part of our company, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”

Unilever and JRM have been aligned since 2009.

Earnhardt led 47 laps in his start at Bristol last year before an ignition fire forced him down pit road. His left leg actually caught on fire in the ordeal. He was uninjured beyond leg hair being singed but he’s coming back to Bristol in the pursuit of unfinished business.
