The United States was hit early Sunday morning by what President Obama called an act of terrorism.

50 of our people were taken from this planet in an attack of unquestionable horror, perpetrated by a citizen that pledged allegiance to the terrorist group ISIS.

Since the attack, there has been many attempting to create divisiveness in the face of horrible tragedy.

The always enigmatic Curt Schilling, who was just fired by ESPN for his ridiculously hot takes, spoke up on the attack on Sunday.

Needless to say, it represented more divisiveness from the future Hall of Fame pitcher.

Attempting to politicize something like this will create a negative response. Schilling surely knew this when attempting to defend his stance.

For what it’s worth, and there will be more on this in the coming days, ISIS did in fact claim responsibility for the attack.
