New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas set a new NFL record on Sunday when he broke Marvin Harrison’s mark of 143 single-season catches, and he’s having a legendary campaign.

Illustrating this to perfection, ESPN’s Field Yates shared some stats surrounding Thomas that will blow you away.

One of the things that stood out to me about these comparisons is that Thomas has more catches than all Minnesota Vikings receivers. Even with Adam Thielen being injured this year, the Vikings have some talent in that receiver room.

Overall, that’s just a stunning portrait showing how utterly dominant Thomas has been.

Given that the Saints will likely be going all out for a win to potentially win the No. 1 seed in the NFC this postseason, we’re expecting Thomas to continue piling up stats next Sunday. The Carolina Panthers have struggled to cover receivers this year, and Thomas went off to the tune of 10 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown last time they met this year.
