Cowboys’ Amari Cooper has MRI on knee, misses practice

Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper has been dealing with lower-body injuries throughout the entire 2019 season.

Even after a dazzling performance in a win over the New York Giants on Monday night, it appears that these issues have come up again.

Cooper reportedly missed practice on Thursday, one day after getting an MRI on his knee.

There’s likely a lot of nerves behind the scenes for the 5-3 Cowboys. To say that Cooper is important for an offense that ranks in the top five in scoring would be an understatement.

Despite these injury issues, the former Oakland Raiders first-round pick has tallied 42 receptions for 701 yards and six touchdown in eight games this season.

We’ll obviously have further updates on Cooper’s condition and potential availability for Sunday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
