Colts QB Jacoby Brissett forced out with left knee injury

Jacoby Brissett

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett was forced to exit Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering a left knee injury.

Brissett was under pressure when he attempted an outlet pass, and just as he delivered the ball he was hit in the left knee.

The quarterback was in obvious pain as he remained on the ground and Colts trainers came out to attend to him. Thankfully after being looked at by trainers, Brissett was able to jog off the field, albeit with a limp.

Veteran backup Brian Hoyer replaced Brissett in the lineup.

Before leaving Sunday’s game, Brissett had completed 4-of-5 passes for 59 yards.
