The Colorado Buffaloes not only suffered a fourth loss in their last five this past Saturday, but it seems several players had valuable items taken from their lockers while playing their game against the UCLA Bruins.

It has been a tough last few weeks for the Colorado Buffaloes football team. After an amazing start to the season where they won their first three games and were the talk of the college football world, things have changed very quickly.

After their 3-0 start, the Colorado football team has lost three times to ranked teams, and have given up 40 or more points in a trio of those defeats. However, there was reportedly some added insult to their defeat this past weekend that dropped the team’s record to 4-4 on the season.

Head coach Deion Sanders’ son, Deion Jr., was the first to reveal in a video posted on Sunday night that several players came back to the locker after the loss to discover that some of their jewelry had been stolen. In the video, safety Cam’ron Silmon-Craig claimed he was one of the victims of the robbery and aired his frustration with not being able to trust that his personal items were safe in an opposing school’s locker room.

“You’re gonna play football and know your [expletive] is safe. That joint’s messed up,” Silmon-Craig said. “I just got mine. I had a jewelry box and everything, they took it out of my jewelry box,” another player claimed outside the stadium after the game.

According to OutKick, an investigation is underway by the UCLA athletic department into the alleged robbery inside the Rose Bowl.

“The UCLA athletic department confirmed that a report was filed to the Pasadena Police Department following the UCLA-Colorado football game regarding items that were reportedly missing from the Colorado locker room,” a statement to OutKick said. “UCLA is in communication with law enforcement, Rose Bowl Stadium officials, and the University of Colorado on the matter.”

The Colorado football program or head coach Deion Sanders has not yet commented on the events after their loss on Saturday.
