WATCH: Tar Heels HC Mack Brown gets emotional in post-game interview

Before Saturday, North Carolina head coach Mack Brown hadn’t coached a college football game since stepping down at Texas after the 2013 season.

In his first game back, his Tar Heels scrapped out a gritty 24-20 win over South Carolina, and afterward Brown got emotional during his post-game interview.

That’s just awesome. So much emotion, and who can blame him? What transpired Saturday has been a long time coming.

Welcome back, coach. The game isn’t the same without you. Now that you’re back, all is right in the world again.
