Bill Belichick has officially joined the WAGs. I can’t believe I just said those words in that order. How did we ever get to this stage of the simulation, people?

WAG, of course, stands for “Wives And Girlfriends” of professional athletes. Except he is neither. He’s a boyfriend.

The 74-year-old UNC Tar Heels coach traded his sideline scowl for cheerleading merch this weekend, rooting for girlfriend Jordon Hudson as her Cheer Extreme Code Black squad captured another title at the Worlds in Florida.

Hudson’s squad dominated the International Open Coed Non-Tumbling division, extending their dynasty and giving the polarizing couple yet another reason to celebrate.

Bill the WAG Steals the Spotlight, Cheering on Jordon Hudson

The 25-year-old cheerleader made it official on Instagram with a playful selfie of the couple.

“Roses for Bill the WAG 💍🌹🌹🌹👌🏻,” Hudson captioned the post. The image shows the legendary coach decked out head-to-toe in Code Black gear.

How is the guy who spent years in the NFL tucked under a hoodie while mumbling incoherently now suddenly a gangbusters cheerleading fan? What does Jordon have?

Well, wait. Nevermind. Don’t answer that.

Anyway, look at this absolute legend.

Code Black delivered a dominant performance at the 2026 Cheerleading Worlds, taking home the gold in the L6 International Open Non-Tumbling Coed division with a clean score of 129.25 (no deductions).

That was a mouthful.

The win caps off a strong season for the squad, which had already claimed a grand national championship earlier in the year and earned a paid bid to Worlds.

Oh, why are they holding up the three fingers, you might ask?

Because Code Black secured their third consecutive world championship with this win, becoming the first team ever to achieve back-to-back-to-back titles in that category.

If this keeps up, Hudson might end up with just as many rings by 2031. You know, provided she’s still cheerleading into her 30s.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Belichick go all in on support for his girlfriend, who is nearly five decades his junior. He’s been spotted at multiple competitions. And good for him. The heart wants what the heart wants. That apparently involves cheer contests in between Metamucil hits.

Bill Belichick’s first season as head coach of the Tar Heels ended with a disappointing 4-8 record, marking the program’s first losing regular season since 2018 and ending a streak of six consecutive bowl appearances.

The team suffered multiple blowout losses, including a 48-14 defeat to TCU in the opener and a 42-19 rout by rival NC State in the finale, with five games lost by double-digit margins.

Zero Tar Heels were taken in the recent NFL Draft. Still, on the cheer mat, the duo continues to stack up the wins together—proving their bond runs deeper than any playbook.
