Georgia defensive back Javon Bullard starred in the first half and then missed the second with a shoulder injury during Monday’s College Football Playoff title game against TCU.

Bullard was apparently injured when he recorded his second interception of the game with 36 seconds left in the first half. It was one of three takeaways the sophomore had during a first half that saw the Bulldogs take a 38-7 lead.

Bullard had his first interception with 6:34 left in the first half to precede a Georgia touchdown drive that made it 31-7. The Bulldogs scored another touchdown 10 seconds after his second pick.

He also recovered a fumble with 9:30 left in the first quarter to set up a Georgia field goal.
