Kentucky freshman wing Chris Livingston declared for the NBA draft on Wednesday.
He made the announcement on social media, writing “it’s only up from here” on his Instagram page. He did not mention if he intends to maintain his eligibility.
Livingston had an unremarkable season with the Wildcats. The former five-star recruit averaged 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 34 games (26 starts) for Kentucky. He shot just 42.9 percent from the floor and 30.5 percent from the 3-point line.
He’s expected to be a mid- to late first-round selection.
