Former Iowa starting point guard Ahron Ulis is transferring to Nebraska, he announced on his Instagram Monday.

Ulis started 27 of 32 games for Iowa in 2022-23, averaging a career-high 6.1 points per game along with 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds.

In 84 games across three seasons for the Hawkeyes, Ulis has posted 4.0 points, 1.9 assists and just 0.9 turnovers per game.

He is the younger brother of former Kentucky point guard Tyler Ulis, the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year for the 2015-16 season.

Nebraska is reloading for the 2023-24 season after losing a number of seniors, including starting guard Derrick Walker. The Cornhuskers have also added transfers Rienk Mast, a power forward from Bradley, and Brice Williams, a guard from Charlotte.
