Baylor junior guard LJ Cryer announced Wednesday that he is declaring for the NBA draft.

Cryer said he will retain his college eligibility.

“While it has been a dream to play college basketball at the highest level, I want to explore my options at the professional level as well,” Cryer said in his announcement on Twitter. “That said, I have decided to declare for the NBA Draft while maintaining my eligibility.”

Cryer averaged 15.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 31 games this season, his first as a starter. He tied for the team lead with 80 3-pointers.

Cryer’s announcement comes one day after Baylor guard Keyonte George declared for the draft. The Big 12 Freshman of the Year is projected as a lottery pick and is highly unlikely to return to the Bears.
