Colin Kaepernick isn’t getting any love from the NFL these days, but that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing his calling to reach people in need.
As a part of his commitment, he’s now running a camp that helps teach young kids to know their rights. He shared some of what he’s doing on this front with an Instagram post on Sunday.
Recently, Kaepernick also donated 100 suits to former prisoners so they could land good jobs.
He also used his influence to secure a plane that sent supplies to Somalia.
Clearly, he’s not letting his lack of employment get him down. In fact, it seems as if Kaepernick is embracing the fact that his pursuit of social justice and the protest he engineered last year during the national anthem might end up costing him his NFL career.
For what it’s worth, we think he’d fit in perfectly as Russell Wilson’s backup in Seattle, if the Seahawks would have him.
Keep up the great work, Kap.
