Auburn’s Chuma Okeke tore the ACL in his left knee during the Sweet 16, but on Sunday as his team played Kentucky in the Elite Eight he wouldn’t be denied the chance to cheer his teammates on in the second half.

As the second half got underway, Okeke was wheeled onto the court, wearing a full leg brace to stabilize his knee.

He set up shop on the sidelines next to Auburn’s bench and was given a huge cheer by fans.

Losing Okeke was a big blow to the Tigers. Before his injury, he was Auburn’s third-leading scorer, averaging 12 points per game. He was also the team’s leading rebounder, pulling down 6.8 per game.
