With his sixth catch Sunday, Carolina Panthers star running back set a new NFL record becoming the first running back to log two 100-catch seasons.

The former Stanford star came into the league as one of the most highly-touted running backs in recent memory. And since being selected eighth overall in 2017, all he’s done is live up to the hype with one highlight-reel play after another.

But what makes McCaffrey so special is that he does it on the ground and through the air at an elite level. At the age of 23, he has a chance to continue re-writing the NFL history books throughout his career and retire as a legend.
