Chris Bosh is familiar with leaving a comfortable situation to chase a ring, so we should pay attention when the Miami Heat star thinks LaMarcus Aldridge and the San Antonio Spurs haven’t reached their ceiling.
According to Ethan Skolnick of the Miami Herald, Bosh said Aldridge is still adjusting to the Spurs.

Considering San Antonio is off to a franchise-best start, Bosh’s statement indeed is a terrifying thought.
The Spurs have recorded 34 wins by 10 points or more. Comparatively, the Golden State Warriors have 30, but the next-highest in the Oklahoma City Thunder only have 21. San Antonio is also 18-6 against teams with a .500 record or better.
If it weren’t for the State Warriors and their borderline unbelievable 46-4 record, the Spurs would dominating the Western Conference. Instead, they trail Golden State by 3.5 games for the No. 1 seed.
But think about that for a moment: 43-8 San Antonio is only 3.5 behind the Warriors.
Now, Golden State smashed the Spurs in the earlier meeting. Although Tim Duncan was sidelined, the Dubs earned an impressive 120-90 victory behind a 37-point performance from Stephen Curry.
Unless you believe the Warriors are flat-out untouchable, however — though the Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers would say otherwise — San Antonio absolutely has room to improve.
Bosh will have first-hand knowledge of whether or not Aldridge and the Spurs continue to improve this season, since they’ll face off Tuesday night and then meet again in late March.
