Kansas City Chiefs’ running back Jamaal Charles departed his Week 2 game in the first quarter due to an ankle injury, while running back Knile Davis did a more-than-adequate job picking up the slack.

Unfortunately, the Chiefs still lost to Denver 24-17. However, you can’t blame Davis for any shortages, as he rushed for 79 yards on 22 carries, scored two touchdowns and had 26 receiving yards.
Looking like a total stud, Davis shined while fantasy football owners of the now injured Charles are at their wits’ end. Last week, Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid barely incorporated Charles into any plays, leaving fantasy owners with just 7.40 fantasy points, and now this week Charles goes out early with the injury.
Davis is going to the be the hot commodity to score off the waiver wires, especially if Charles remains dinged up in Week 3.
“@TheFFLCommish: If Jamaal Charles injury is indeed Achilles then prepare for the worst owners….#FantasyFootball” Knile Davis time
