Charges say that Kellen Winslow Jr. allegedly targeted elderly women

The story of former Cleveland Browns first-round pick Kellen Winslow Jr. is almost too unbearable and disgusting to comprehend.

On Thursday, the 34-year-old former NFL tight end was arrested and charged with multiple counts of kidnapping and sexual assault. The details we had at that point were just mind-boggling (more on that here).

We’re now hearing more about the specifics coming from San Diego, especially as it pertains to the criminal complaint filed against Winslow Jr. And it’s even more disturbing.

According to the The San Diego Union-Tribune, the complaint against Winslow Jr. indicates that he targeted elderly women multiple times. This includes the following allegations.

“Kidnap, rape and forced oral copulation of a 54-year-old woman in March. Kidnap, rape and sodomy of a 59-year-old woman in May. Indecent exposure in May. Burglary with the intent to rape a 71-year-old woman in June. Burglary with the intent to rape an 86-year-old woman also in June.”

It goes without saying that Winslow Jr. faces life in prison if convicted on the charges. He’s set to face arraignment in San Diego on Friday.

If these allegations are proven true, there’s a special place down under for the former NFLer.
