Those attending the Washington Redskins vs. Los Angeles Chargers game on Sunday were treated to a plane comparing Los Angeles owner Dean Spanos to a not so beloved Christmas character.

Clearly, the fans in San Diego are still salty. Really, it’s hard to blame them. The Spanos family didn’t seem to have much loyalty towards the city its team called home for more than 50 years. Now, while the Chargers have fielded a competitive team, they’ve been unable to fill the small StubHub Center, with many of the fans in attendance cheering for the opposing teams.
Los Angeles’ next home game will come in Week 17 against the Oakland Raiders. That game will fall on New Year’s Eve. We certainly won’t be surprised if another holiday-related banner is flying over the home stadium on that day.
