The Los Angeles Chargers are among the most snake-bitten teams in the NFL already, and now pass rusher Melvin Ingram is out with a hamstring injury.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Ingram is expected to miss “likely a couple weeks’ with this injury.

Ingram hasn’t been particularly explosive off the edge this year, tallying just 14 tackles and one sack through four games. However, he is one of the better edge rushers in the NFL, having racked up 36 sacks in his previous four seasons.

With Ingram out of commission, the Chargers will need to see some production from 2018 second-round pick, Uchenna Nwosu, who played his college ball at USC and had 3.5 sacks as a rookie.
