This is a very disturbing story to report. According to TMZ Sports, the Los Angeles home of Chargers tight end Antonio Gates was burglarized while his kids were home inside. Thankfully, according to the report, the robbers never came in contact with Gates’ kids.
Surveillance footage showed the perpetrators scaling a gate to enter Gates’ garage where they reportedly stole some things. They also went through some of Gates’ cars looking for items, per the report.
According to TMZ Sports, sources with inside information suggest the suspects may have previously cased Gates home, because they seemed to quickly hit their target area.
Thankfully, Gates kids were not involved in what could have turned into a very frightening situation.
TMZ reports that the local police are still looking for the suspects.
