Celtics point guard Marcus Smart suffered a midfoot sprain in Boston’s Game 7 victory Sunday and is questionable for Tuesday night’s Eastern Conference finals opener at Miami.

Smart had an MRI on his right foot and it came back clean, ESPN reported Monday.

Celtics coach Ime Udoka told reporters that the Celtics will see how Smart’s foot feels Tuesday ahead of tipoff.

However, Udoka added that Robert Williams won’t have any restrictions and will play against the Heat. Williams was available to play in Sunday’s finale against the Milwaukee Bucks but Udoka said he didn’t want to shift his rotation.

Smart finished with 11 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in the Game 7 win.

Smart is averaging 15.0 points and 6.2 assists per game in 10 postseason games, besting his average of 12.1 points and 5.9 assists during the regular season.
