Is Kyle Korver a better player than fellow Class of 2003 draftee Carmelo Anthony? One person took to Instagram to suggest the possibility. Melo, though, was having none of that action.
In truth, this is not a fair comparison.
Korver does have better pure shooting stats than Anthony. That said, Anthony played significantly more minutes than Korver during the regular season and averaged seven more points a game.
A case could certainly be made that given where he was drafted and how much hype he’s received, Carmelo should have accomplished more in his career. Still, that’s a long way from saying that Korver is the better player.
