While Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson will enter the weekend as a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, he is reportedly likely to play in the Week 6 contest.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Johnson is likely to play on Sunday after he indicated he would be a game-time decision.

Johnson suffered a back injury during the team’s game in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals. While he managed to fight through some of the soreness, he missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

Arizona could play it safe with Johnson and use him in a more limited role. In that event, or if he were to miss Sunday’s game, running back Chase Edmonds would step in as the team’s featured three-down back.
