Cardinals RB David Johnson a game-day decision with ankle injury

The Arizona Cardinals may or may not have star running back David Johnson on the field Sunday as they take on the New York Giants.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Johnson is a game-day decision with an ankle injury, noting the running back would not have been able to play if the game had been on Friday.

That’s ominous news for the Cardinals, and for fantasy football owners who have been depending on the star player. So far this season, Johnson has tallied 613 yards and five touchdowns from scrimmage.

If Johnson is unable to play, then it seems likely that Chase Edmunds would receive a lot more work on Sunday against the Giants.
