The season of Arizona Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson is over. The team placed Peterson on injured reserved on Thursday, officially ending his season.

The news is hardly surprising. Coach Bruce Arians had previously expressed great doubt that Peterson would return.
Peterson’s season ends with 529 yards on 156 carries and two touchdowns between the Cardinals and New Orleans Saints.
One now has to wonder if this is the end of his career.
