Cardinals’ Josh Shaw suspended through 2020 season for betting on NFL games

Arizona Cardinals defensive back Josh Shaw has been suspended through the 2020 season for betting on NFL games.

The league announced the suspension Friday, noting Shaw is suspended indefinitely, but through “at least the conclusion of the 2020 season for betting on NFL games on multiple occasions this season.”

Shaw is currently on injured reserve and has not played in a single game for the Cardinals this year.

The 27-year-old former fourth-round pick out of USC has logged 108 tackles and one interception in 55 career games with the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers before signing with the Cardinals this year.
