Canadian teen’s dying wish is to meet LeBron James on Christmas

LeBron James Fart

This is one of those stories that should go viral. Corey Groves is a 17-year-old die-hard basketball fan.

He’s taking the trek from up north to Southern California to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Christmas Day.

Diagnosed with stage four sarcoma cancer, Graves has been given a calendar year to live. His final wish is to meet Lakers great LeBron James.

“Chances are (being in L.A. for the Christmas Day game) will be my last holiday ever,” Graves told the Toronto Sun. “I’m hoping to spread the word and maybe get Lebron’s attention so I can shake my hero’s hand.”

It’s not too much to ask. We’re at a time of the year when giving should be second nature for those in a position to do just that. Giving a minute or two out of his day to make a dying teen’s wish come true would be absolutely great.

I say we get this going viral. It’s the least we can do for the brave young man.
