Heading into Week 16, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is donning a different hat — a Santa Claus cap, because Newton is in a giving spirit.
He is generously donating $100,000 in cash, gifts and food to families in need throughout the Charlotte area.

“If you’re not in the Christmas spirit after this, you might be a grinch at heart,” said Cam, kicking off his 4th annual Santa Cam Surprise Sleigh event

This is pretty awesome. What Newton is doing to enrich the lives of families in need, especially during the holidays, is fantastic.
Like Newton said after speaking at his fourth annual Santa Cam Surprise Sleigh kickoff, “if you’re not in the Christmas spirit after this, you might be a grinch at heart.”
This is so true. Newton is one of many NFL players who so generously has volunteered his time and resources to assist those who are less fortunate.
