Cam Jordan once again rails against refs for ‘laughable’ decision in Rams game

Cam Jordan had a touchdown taken away from him by the refs Sunday as the New Orleans Saints played the Los Angeles Rams.

Jared Goff had the ball batted out of his hand before he started a forward throwing motion. The ball landed on the ground, and Jordan scooped it up and ran for the score. Only, as he was running, officials whistled the play dead saying it was an incomplete pass (it wasn’t).

Fans were absolutely furious about the refs once again burning the Saints, and after the game Jordan himself lit into them in his post-game interview.

Then, on Monday, he doubled down on his criticism (h/t Luke Johnson of USA Today): “It was a clear fumble, which turned into a defensive touchdown, which was robbed. … The referee did what they thought was right at the time, which was laughable.”

Jordan has every right to be upset. The Saints and their fans have to feel like they are being targeted by officials at this point because the egregious nature of the blatant mistakes that have hurt them so badly is staggering.
