Bulls G/F Javonte Green (groin) out 2-4 weeks

Chicago Bulls guard/forward Javonte Green will be out of action two to four weeks with a groin injury.

Green, 28, is averaging a career-high 5.8 points per game to go with 4.2 rebounds per game in 29 contests (18 starts). He’s also playing a career-high 22.2 minutes per game.

Bulls coach Billy Donovan also said Monday that forward Tyler Cook is likely to miss a couple of weeks with an ankle sprain. Cook averages 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in limited action.

On the plus side, Alex Caruso is closer to returning after injuring his foot on Dec. 20. Donovan said Caruso will get in some contact practices this week. Caruso is averaging 8.4 points and 4.0 assists in his first season in Chicago.
