Bucs troll Falcons with ’28-3′ dig during mini-Twitter spat

By Rachel Wold

Those in charge of the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Twitter accounts enjoyed a friendly little divisional spat.

It started with Tampa Bay hawking a souvenir Bucs’ Fidget Spinner. These toys have been all the craze, especially for school children.

These spinners were initially designed for people who deal with ADHD and/or who are autistic. They are also marketed as a way to get rid of excess nerves.

The Falcons shot this tweet out in response.

The Bucs response was absolutely priceless.

Those numbers represent the 28-3 lead the Falcons had over the New England Patriots before Tom Brady and Co. unleashed 31 unanswered points to win Super Bowl LI.

At some point a Falcons fan jumped in and attempted to save their team from disgrace, pointing to last year’s blowout win for Atlanta over Tampa Bay.

All the Falcons can do laugh off the gibes and prepare to take the NFC South by storm once again. Though it is worth noting, those feisty Buccaneers finished only two games behind Atlanta last year.

Though the season is still months away, these two teams have officially declared it’s game on for the 2017 campaign.
