Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo out vs. Heat

Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out of Thursday’s road game against the Miami Heat.

Per the NBA’s official injury report, Antetokounmpo is dealing with left knee soreness heading into the latter half of the Bucks’ back-to-back set.

Antetokounmpo, 28, was limited to just seven points — albeit with 18 rebounds and 10 assists — in Milwaukee’s 114-105 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

The two-time NBA MVP and six-time All-Star is third in the league with 31.0 points per game to go along with 11.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 35 games (all starts) this season.

Antetokounmpo is not alone, as the Bucks also will be without Grayson Allen (right ankle), Khris Middleton (right knee), Serge Ibaka (personal reasons) and Joe Ingles (left knee, injury management) on Thursday.
