New Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper has designs on tag-teaming with Mike Trout in 2020, assuming the latter hits free agency.
In an interview with SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia Tuesday, Harper made it crystal clear that he’s going to be pushing Trout to sign in Philly.
When asked specifically about Mike Trout, Bryce Harper says he's in a position to help recruit him or any player. "I can really put that faith in myself being able to say we're the Philadelphia Phillies and we want everyone who wants to come to Philly." #On94WIP🎙️

Bryce Harper: "If you don't think I'm gonna call Mike Trout to come to Philly in 2020, you're crazy." 👏👏👏

There have been rumors that the Los Angeles Angels are trying to work out an extension with the superstar. Yet it’s widely assumed that Trout will hit the open market to not only play for a legitimate contender but also potentially land a bigger deal.
Interestingly, the way Harper’s contract is put together, Philadelphia really is in a fantastic spot to hook Trout in 2020.
