Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston made the wrong kind of history during Sunday’s season-ending overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Winston tossed a game-ending pick-six into the hands of Falcons linebacker Deion Jones. It represented an NFL single-season record seventh pick-six for the impending free agent. He also became the first quarterback in league history with 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in a season.

Following the game, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians didn’t seem like he was keen on bringing the former No. 1 pick back to the mix next season.

An interception in an otherwise meaningless game might seem to matter little. That’s until we realize that Arians has been evaluating his quarterback all season.

He’s also put Winston on blast for the absurd amount of turnovers the 25-year-old Winston has committed this season. In fact, Winston ended the 2019 campaign having given the ball away 35 times. That’s just gross.
