Cleveland Browns quarterback Kevin Hogan’s time under center with the team was very short-lived. After suffering a rib injury in Week 6, Hogan has been relegated to the No. 3 quarterback role behind starter DeShone Kizer and backup Cody Kessler.

Hogan was called upon to start in Week 6 following the endless struggles of rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer. However, the second-year quarterback did not perform much better than Kizer. He completed just 54.05 percent of his passes for 140 yards and one touchdown. He also tossed three interceptions and took four sacks.
The Browns are between a rock and a hard place with Hogan dinged up. The team has no other real choice but to start Kizer again in Week 7 and appoint Kessler as his backup. Kessler started in eight games last season and completed 65.6 percent of his passes and threw for six touchdowns versus two interceptions.
Up next for the winless Cleveland Browns is a home matchup against the 3-3 Tennessee Titans. Earning a first win of the season is the goal for all involved no matter who is under center.
