Browns reportedly trade Kevin Hogan to the Redskins

As with DeShone Kizer, Kevin Hogan is in over his head.

The Cleveland Browns have now reportedly shipped off their third quarterback this offseason. Fresh off dealing both Cody Kessler and DeShone Kizer back in March, reports are surfacing that Cleveland has dealt fellow signal caller Kevin Hogan to the Washington Redskins in exchange for a swap of sixth-round picks in this month’s draft.

Hogan, 25, was a fifth-round pick out of Stanford back in 2016. He started one game this past season, completing a grand total of 61.3 percent of his passes for 517 yards with four touchdowns and five interceptions. Hogan figures to battle with Colt McCoy for the primary backup job in D.C., behind the recently acquired Alex Smith.
