As the Cleveland Browns prepare for a big season that has everyone in the city excited, team owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam are giving the city even more reason to be happy this week.
They have donated $4.5 million to Cleveland Orchestra, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Playhouse Square, arts programs dedicated to music and education within the community.
The money will go towards scholarships for and further supporting educational programs within the community. Playhouse Square is the largest performing arts center in the US and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors some of the greatest musicians in history.
It’s a very nice gesture by the Haslam family in a city that is extremely passionate about its entertainment. The fans within the city are likely to be just as excited when the team opens its season at home against the Tennessee Titans.
