Browns’ Odell Beckham Jr. done talking watch, blasts Jets DC

Drama was the name of the game during Odell Beckham Jr’s stint with the New York Giants. That has not changed only one game into his tenure with the Cleveland Browns.

Though, it’s a completely different type of drama. Beckham was seen wearing a $350,000 watch during his debut with Cleveland last week. It’s something the NFL took exception to.

Despite this, OBJ noted following the game that he plans to wear it for Monday night’s outing against the New York Jets.

When posed with a question about the watch on Thursday, the star receiver shut it down in a big way. He’s clearly not wanting to talk about it.

Raise your hand if you had a watch being the first incident surrounding Beckham in his debut season with the Browns. Yeah, we didn’t think so.

OBJ’s unwillingness to talk about the watch was repeated by Jets safety Jamal Adams ahead of the Week 2 game.

Meanwhile, Beckham Jr. did talk some about the upcoming matchup. Primarily, his focus was on Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams’ supposed dirty tactics.

Cleveland is coming off an embarrassing home loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 1. Meanwhile, the Jets are going to be without Sam Darnold for the foreseeable future.

But let’s continue to talk about a $350,000 watch as if it matters in the grand scheme of things.
