Brooks Raley signs two-year, $10 million deal with Tampa Bay Rays

Left-hander Brooks Raley signed a two-year contract worth $10 million with the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday.

Per the team, the deal includes a club option for 2024.

Raley, 33, posted a 2-3 record with two saves and a 4.78 ERA in 58 relief appearances with the Houston Astros last season. He struck out 65 batters while walking just 16 over 49.0 innings.

Raley owns a 3-6 record with three saves and a 5.62 ERA in 93 career appearances (five starts) with the Chicago Cubs (2012-13), Cincinnati Reds (2020) and Astros. He also spent five years pitching for the Lotte Giants in the Korean Baseball Organization.
