The Denver Broncos announced Friday that they’re picking up the contract options of linebackers Von Miller and Todd Davis, along with kicker Brandon McManus.

In no way are these roster moves surprising.

Miller, of course, is one of the most electric and consistent pass rushers in the NFL today. His option is worth $17.5 million (with a roster bonus of $500,000), which is well below market value for a player of his caliber.

Davis is a rock-solid linebacker as well. He’ll earn $5 million in 2020 after piling up 134 tackles for the Broncos last season.

McManus made 29-of-34 field goals last year, and was 25-of-26 on extra-point attempts. He’ll make $3 million in base salary, with a $500,000 bonus.
