The Denver Broncos have started Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch this season. Unfortunately, the Broncos are not convinced any of them are reliable options moving forward.
According to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Broncos’ plan for 2018 is to find a starting quarterback.

Per Rapoport, “all options are on the table.” This means the Broncos could draft a rookie with an early round pick. Rapoport also said the Broncos are willing to spend big money on a free agent quarterback. He mentioned both Kirk Cousins and Drew Brees. Both are currently slated to become free agents in March.
Rapoport said trading for a quarterback is also an option, noting the Broncos could attempt to trade for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.
The bottom line here is, Rapoport expects team owner John Elway to become very aggressive in the offseason.
Denver missed the postseason last year and is currently last place in the AFC West with a 5-9 record. A major shakeup at the quarterback position in Denver appears to be imminent.
