The Denver Broncos won four of their final five games under rookie quarterback Drew Lock. He played brilliantly during that span, including during Sunday’s win over the Oakland Raiders.
Lock has brought some youthful exuberance to an otherwise veteran-laden squad. His performance under center comes after former Super Bowl quarterback Joe Flacco struggled as Denver’s starter.
Following Sunday’s win, impending Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris took time out of his evening to shade Flacco in epic fashion.
Without even mentioning Flacco by name, Harris made his opinion known in a big way.
It’s also seemingly good news for the Broncos as they attempt to re-sign Harris once free agency gets going during the spring.
As for Flacco, he’s still under contract with a $23.7 million cap hit for next season after finishing the 2019 campaign with just six touchdowns and five interceptions en route to leading eh Broncos to a 2-6 record in eight starts.
