Georgia Bulldogs star Brock Bowers has long been on the NFL Draft radar. Now, after three seasons with the Bulldogs, the top tight end prospect in the country is going pro. Expected to be a top-15 pick, Bowers is a special talent capable of not only creating separation using his dynamic athleticism, but he can also do a lot of damage after the catch.

Whoever drafts Bowers will be getting a player with the potential to take over a game at any given moment. But if there’s one team he’d prefer to join over all the others, which is it?

Growing up watching football, the natural reaction is to develop an admiration for a specific player or team, especially when you’re one of the best athletes in the country with a clear passion for the sport you play. Every year we see over 250 prospects selected in the NFL Draft, it’s hard to imagine many of these players not having a favorite team, yet we rarely hear these topics discussed in the public.

But that changed this week when Brock Bowers was asked if there was any NFL team he’d prefer to join, and he didn’t hesitate to toss out the Tennessee Titans.

“I’d be alright going to the Tennessee Titans. I liked it down in the Georgia, Tennessee area. That was cool, that would be a cool spot to be,” Bowers said.

The Titans own the seventh pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which could put them in a prime position to select Bowers. Other teams ahead of the Titans with a potential need for Bowers include the Cardinals, Chargers, and Giants, but they also have other areas to address too.

Either way, Bowers would be thrilled to land with the Titans this April when the first round of the NFL Draft kicks off. If so, he’d likely have no trouble becoming one of the top targets for Will Levis in Tennessee, forming a trio with DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks. Even with Chigoziem Okonkwo on hand, the Titans would benefit from adding Bowers too, where they’d have one of the better tight end tandems in the NFL.
