Former first-round NFL draft pick Paxton Lynch is shifting teams again.

The San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL announced Wednesday they claimed Lynch from the Orlando Guardians.

Lynch started the first five games of the season for the Guardians but was benched in three of them. The Guardians are 1-6 and have turned to Quinten Dormady as their starter.

On the season, Lynch has completed 59.6 percent of his passes for 737 yards with four touchdowns and an interception.

In four games, Dormady has thrown for 969 yards with a 70.2 percent completion rate, six touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Denver Broncos selected Lynch, a San Antonio native, with the No. 26 overall pick of the 2016 draft. He played just five games with the franchise (1-3 as a starter) before the Broncos gave up on him.

Now 29, the Memphis product has bounced around since then, spending time with the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL, the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL and the Michigan Panthers of the USFL before landing in the XFL.

The Brahmas are 2-5 on the season. They will host the Houston Roughnecks (4-3) on Sunday.
