Bradley Chubb admits he cried his eyes out after news of ACL tear

Denver Broncos pass rusher Bradley Chubb will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 4, and the injury hit him very hard.

Speaking to media on Tuesday, Chubb admitted that he cried his eyes out to his mom, dad and brother, per James Palmer of NFL Network.

That’s understandable. All season-ending injuries are brutal. But a big reason this injury was so tough on him is that Chubb tore the ACL in this same leg seven years ago to the date, on September 29th of 2012 when he was in high school.

He also said that this injury “sucks right now, but it’s going to make me a better person.”

While initially the Broncos said that Chubb would undergo surgery to repair his ACL, he said Tuesday that he will seek a second and third opinion before going under the knife.

Chubb was the No. 5 overall pick last year and had a phenomenal rookie season, tallying 12 sacks. In his final game of this season, he tallied seven tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.
