A wild video made its way on social media late last night after the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight that shows former UFC heavyweight king Andrei Arlovski brawling with members of Paul’s posse who barely look out of their teens.
On Friday night, one of the most-watched events on the sports schedule was the circus fight between influencer-turned-fighter Paul and heavyweight legend Joshua. The bout inside a jam-packed Kaseya Center in Miami aired exclusively on Netflix and saw the mammoth former unified champion take on the far smaller and less skilled Cleveland native.
To the surprise of no one, Joshua ended up scoring a knockout in the sixth round. Bringing a night of fights to a resounding conclusion. Or so it seemed.
Andrei Arlovski Brawls With Punk Teenagers
As fans left the arena last night, members of Paul’s posse live-streamed their exit. In the video, one of the young members of Team Paul could be heard saying that another bystander looked “like the guy from 300.” As the footage continues, the person they are referring to is UFC legend Andrei Arlovski, and as he shows up in the video, it seems that one of the youngsters bumped him. That was a bad idea.
Things quickly descend into a wild melee when the MMA veteran confronts them. Arlovski is seen taking on all comers, including what looks to be a bodyguard accompanying them that was even bigger than him. After the former heavyweight champion gets in some licks, a woman jumps in to calm the angry beast. Eventually, cooler heads prevail, and the brawl ends.
It’s unclear what was the specific reason for the fight, but it sent a clear message to the youngsters out there: Don’t talk crap to randos in public, or you might end up getting into a scrap with a UFC legend you can’t beat.
